As part of European Week of Sport all pupils took part in the Run Around Europe Challenge. All classes ran laps of the playground and each lap represented 1 kilometre. Classes chose target capital cities and ran towards them. We exceeded our expectations with classes meeting and surpassing their targets. We learn about the importance of exercise and physical activity with a visit from a physiotherapist.

Fourth Class Nature Walk

In March this year, children from fourth class enjoyed an educational Nature talk from Ms. Chapman. They walked the nature trail in Doorly Park where they learned about the birds and trees in this scenic area. Birds recorded included the cormorant, heron and grey wagtail.
