Our attitudes and aspirations

Moral Teaching Carbury School is a National School reflecting and promoting the ethos and characteristic spirit of the Church of Ireland, Presbyterian and Methodist churches. The school seeks to uphold and express the doctrines, moral teachings, traditions, practices and customs of the above named churches. This distinctive spiritual and moral dimension undergirds and permeates the core values and daily life of the school. All pupils are expected to participate fully in the life of the school. Of course, the Board and staff are also sensitive to other traditions and cultures. The programme for Religious Instruction (a broadly Christian and Bible-based Scheme) devised by the Protestant churches is implemented in the school.
