R.I.P. Alan Moffitt
It is with great sadness, that we share the news of the untimely death of Alan Moffitt, Principal of Carbury School.
Alan was an inspirational teacher and principal who guided the school through many changes and developments over the last twenty seven years. Both as a teacher and principal, Alan was highly respected. He was always deeply committed to the development and success of Carbury School. He has left us with an enduring legacy in the beautiful school we are privileged to enjoy today. Alan's kindness and compassion for all the staff was something we relied upon, he was a true friend to all of us.
Our sympathy and thoughts are with Alan's family and friends at this time.

We may be coming into the winter months but Junior and Senior Infants are already planning for spring. Children from both classes planted a variety of bulbs including daffodils, tulips, crocuses and hyacinths. We hope that our classroom window sills will be brightened with a colourful display next term. For now, patience is key as our expert gardeners wait to see if their efforts will be successful.Read more
