5th Class bring Junior Infants orienteering
As part of our exciting Active Week celebrations, 5th Class took on the role of leaders and mentors by guiding our Junior Infants through an orienteering adventure around the school grounds. Using our specially designed Active Walkway, 5th Class students introduced the younger pupils to the basics of orienteering in a fun, interactive, and educational way.
The older students showed great responsibility and enthusiasm as they helped the Junior Infants navigate the walkway, identify markers, follow clues, and complete the course. It was a fantastic opportunity for teamwork, peer learning, and outdoor physical activity.
The Junior Infants loved having their "big buddies" help them, and the 5th Class students embraced their leadership roles with pride.
