First Class has been learning about An Garda Síochána this month which translates to ‘Guardians of the Peace’. We were delighted to welcome Garda Pat to our classroom, where he took part in an interview and spoke to the pupils about personal and road safety. He showed us his uniform and the equipment he uses in his role, and shared helpful advice on how to stay safe when out and about.
A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to sit in the Garda car, see the flashing lights, and hear the siren in action. Many thanks to Garda Pat for taking the time to visit our class.
