Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP)

30th Jan 2026

Pupils from 5th and 6th Classes have been participating in the JEP programme.  The Junior Entrepreneur Programme is a 12–16-week entrepreneurial education initiative for 5th and 6th-class primary school students in Ireland. It enables pupils to experience practical, real-world business creation, from brainstorming to producing and selling a product, while developing key skills like teamwork, financial literacy, and confidence.

The pupils showed fantastic creativity, imagination, maturity, team working skills and computer skills in their presentations.  It was a joy for all to watch the pupils begin to develop a business idea and bring it to the presentation stage.  Well done to all and we look forward to developing the Positive Plants initiative which was developed by Killian, Michael, Killian and Cillian.
