Carbury N.S. was awarded a fully funded BLAST in-school residency opportunity via the new BLAST Arts in Education Residency Programme 2023/2024. The BLAST Arts in Education Residency application is funded by the Department of Education and stands for 'Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers'.
This was a wonderful opportunity for our school to engage with a fully funded artist. Anna Faye Vahey collaborated with Ms. West and the 6th Class pupils to create wonderful pieces of artwork on the theme of travel. This links in with the Green School theme which is currently underway in the school. 6th Class pupils were very fortunate to complete a sewing project under Anna's expert guidance.
