Fourth Class was asked to imagine they were the architect assigned to design the 'Eastern Bridge' which will cross the Garavogue River in the near future. Before putting pen to paper the children studied bridges from around the world for inspiration. When the design stage was complete the pupils constructed their bridges using marshmallows and spaghetti. Each bridge was tested for stability using weights at the end of the lesson. Well done to all the children for their amazing designs and constructions.
