Cross County in Sligo

Carbury pupils do us proud.
Middle and Senior classes from schools in County Sligo were invited to take part in a Cross Country Event at the I.T. on Saturday, 30th September. Third and Fourth classes had to run a distance of 1000 metres and Fifth and Sixth ran 1200 metres. Very well done to all Carbury Pupils who participated and especially the many enthusiastic pupils from Third Class. A particular “Congratulations” to Jemma Lindsay and Mark Greer in Fifth Class who qualified for the Connaught Finals.
