We were delighted to welcome Louise from the Road Safety Authority to Carbury School. She facilitated workshops with all the classes. She highlighted the importance of crossing the road safely and wearing reflective gear. Louise encouraged the children to be aware of dangerous distractions such as earphones when using the road. She also discussed road safety rules when cycling and travelling by bus. She emphasised the need to wear a seatbelt in the car and on the bus. This topic is very relevant as it is links in with our work on the theme of travel for Green Schools.
