September Walkabout

28th Sep 2023

A dry autumn’s day is not to be wasted, so the Senior Infants headed off on a walkabout.  Armed with our clipboards and paper bags, we busily spotted and collected the many autumnal objects, as we walked across the Garavogue River.  We were delighted to spot some conkers that had fallen from the horse chestnut! We noticed tiny little spiders working hard on their webs.  We made tree bark rubbings, while remembering our Green School’s motto ‘to leave no trace’!  We all agreed it was a lovely way to spend an autumn’s morning.
