World Book Day 2019

Third and Fourth classes thoroughly enjoyed a magnificent morning in Liber Book Shop  http://liber.ie to celebrate World Book Day.  Local artist Wayne O'Connor entertained the children with some magical stories about witches and fairies.  All the children were in awe of the wonderful expression, voices and actions he used while telling the stories.  Afterwards, Fourth class had the opportunity to swap their book token for a book.  Ailbhe from Liber Book Shop also gave each child a book mark and a personal challenge of reading a book in 20 differen ways.  Thank you to all at Liber for your hospitality.
